I recently met staff from the new Ettingshall Medical Centre. It is a wonderful new facilitiy which is helping over 600 people have access to better heath facilities. This is an example of the development and improvements that the Labour Government is funding to help improved the lives of so many people.

These new facilities and the work done by their dedicated staff in improving public health and tending to our communities should be applauded.

The centre has 6 new doctors and the centre is open from 8am every day until 8pm on a Monday and 6pm Tuesday-Friday, but there are plans to have longer open hours as the centre progresses. I was also happy to hear that the centre will be providing appointments on a Saturday morning so that patients can see doctors when it is convenient for them. Illness is not 9-5 so patient care should not be either.
