Local MP Pat McFadden marked the end of Fair Trade fortnight with a giant cuppa at the Wulfrun centre Tea Dance on Friday.

Pat was joined by Fair Trade campaigners who have been selling Fair Trade goods at various locations throughout the city over the past two weeks.

Pat said: "There is a lot of support for Fair Trade in Wolverhampton and I think Fair Trade fortnight has been a big success.  As a Business Minister I want farmers and others who produce goods to get a fair price for their work.”

The Tea Dance was part of a larger two weeks of events being organised up and down the country to highlight the growing range of products that are now available in the UK that are fair trade products.

Pat added: “The Fair Trade movement is growing and what started as just being about tea, coffee and chocolate has now grown into many products including textiles.  Going to the Tea Dance was a great way to round off Fair Trade fortnight."
